All classics, right? But how many people realize they damn near came out AT THE SAME TIME! I used to break in my sister's house to watch these shits because I didn't have cable....
But I fell in LOVE with this shit.. I'm talking digging in the crates, tracking samples, doing the knowedge, LOVE like I'm planning to get the words "HIP HOP" tattooed on me... In 2000. I had a rough day, and just did maaaad drugs. Coke, weed, some yellowjackets, ketamine, was drinking the vodka with the headphones on... and I listened to THIS for the first time... 6 years late.
And I don't know.. WHAT happened. I sat there in the dark and listened to the whole album 5 times straight... the shit was like magic. I was in another world, I could see the words being rapped out with a little dot bouncing on the syllables like a teleprompter.. the next day I went and bought 400 dollars in CDs.
